Let’s see how I progress: (the ones in red are my 1st reviews whereas the ones in green are my 2nd)

1. Exorcise the words, “lah” and “bah” from my English vocabulary: It’s time to start talking good English, and stop talking like a teenager.*Goodness gracious. I’m still with lots of “lahhhh”!! *obviously, not much improvement lah. lol*

2. Invest in some seriously frivolous undergarments and feel-good clothes!: The value of comfy cotton briefs is unquestionable, but every girl’s got to have frilly lingerie too. There are days when I need a mental lift and simply feeling physically-pretty is an instant mood-booster! *Yeah. I did. Woohoo. I feel terrific!!*

3. Get into the habit of journaling. I am better able to examine my heart and thoughts when they are expressed in writing. First step, buy a writing pad. *ok. seriously. I don’t need a pad. I’m no computer geek, but did started to blog last year. Updated my page a lot more these days. So mission accomplished.

4. Take a photography class. I’d love to make photography a more serious part of my free time. *didn’t managed to do so. I tend to be too caught up with work and D60 has been inside my drawer for quite some time. So I guess I’ll skip this.*

5. Buy a DSLR. Nikon D40 is good enough for beginners like me, and how should I start attending a photography class without a DSLR? *Mission accomplished!! Bought a D60 infact. invested more than I projected but hey, its worth it. I’m thinking of selling it off. Anyone? I need the extra cash for my project.

6. Create Photo Albums – of Family, Friends and My-own-Shutterbug Portfolio! *coming soon! *I have one with Kermit already!*

7. Love myself as God loves me. I completely realize that this will likely not happen in five years, but it’s a goal that I must strive towards.

8. Take some sort of ‘girly’ course; Baking, cooking, sewing etc. I’ve always been so envious of girls who can bake or sew and do it well. I really like to learn. *still not there yet*

9. Make more money than I spend: In other words, I want to be debt free. The important thing is to manage my money well. *oh so not happening this year. Maybe next year. *In another few years. Urgh*

10. Invest in a very good hairstylist – I need to change my hairstyle. It will be very good as a self-confidence-booster. *I’m liking my RM5 cuts with a ‘hairsylist’ near my house! A she-male. and he rocks! (she rocks!)

11. Contact lenses? *Mission Accomplished. With a good support from my best friend, so yeah..I picked Hazel. *winks* *owh those days*

12. “Stop seeking blessings where there are none to be given”. I want to learn to stop seeking the approval of persons who I know will never give it. That doesn’t mean I plan to cut them completely off from my system, but I will stop putting so much weight into their opinions.

13. Avoid cynics and people who bring me down - and toxic behaving people in general (make me depressed, sad, or make me want to kill everybody – bad karma). Sometimes it’s impossible to ignore toxic people. So also learn how to ignore everything they say. (Life is short man. I refuse to give time to people who don’t make me want to live happier and stronger as is or how I chose to be (come). *Cynics and toxic!! I should. I really, really should*

14. Have a person draw my portrait; so I can see how others see me? Cheesy.

15. Go for International Vacation Trips – Collect at least 5 stamps from different countries in my passport. In other to do that, I need to have an International Passport first. *Hoorahh! I reached Singapore & Bandung, ID. I’m saving for The States *winks*

16. Climb Mount Kinabalu – Every Sabahan must! *Next Year *Yeap. 2010 seems like a good year to climb that mountain!*

17. Stay at least one night in an Island – I went for several trips to an island before with friends and families but never actually spend the night there.

18. Have at least a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or in any field.

19. Take a Helicopter ride!

20. Go for White-water-rafting!

21. Treat my family to superb-dinners. *Yay! So far I treated my parents for a superb dinners at great hotels. They don’t really care actually. Hehehe. But the feeling to be able to pay for such things makes me all teary. More coming soon.

22. Earn above 3K per month – take my job seriously. And show good performance. *yak yak yak

23. Learn a foreign language – I must go for Mandarin classes. *

24. Learn to control my temper and develop patience – channeling negative energies successfully. *still, bitching helps!No matter how un-cool you may define it. ROTFL*

25. Change how I speak with others and avoid anything I consider to be judgmental.

26. Win a competition – Whatever it might be.

27. Write a letter to “The Editor” on views/experiences or whatsoever- get it published.

28. To love helplessly and unconditionally. *Hugs Kermit*

29. Get married? *owh dang! Waiting for that someone.. *sighs*

My first trip to Bandung was SUPERRRRRRRRBB!!!

• The nicest strawberry juice I tasted (so far) is found in Bandung, ID! I had blended strawberry with milk and it was like..super-duper awesome I tell you!!!
• Didn’t manage to take lots of photos – was walking from one factory outlets to another (lots and lots of them), distros, malls, streets etc and carrying my D60 is kinda heavy, so I left it in the hotel room. Brought along the compact Lumix but was too busy deciding on what to buy and cared less about photo snapping. lol.
• The weather in Bandung is quite cold, at times it felt like the whole city was air-conditioned!
• A lot of poor people begging for money along the streets (street beggars)- as young as 2 years old to maybe 60. Very kesian. It made me realized that people (like me) should be grateful with what they have now..at least we can afford to wear nice clothes, wear shoes and own a car. I saw kids who walk up and down the same street from am to pm. Walking from one car to another begging for $.
• Terasa diriku umpama Jutawan!! Carried cash amounting to 5 Million in our shorts!!! (in Rupiahs of course). lol.
• (besok sambung cerita. sleepy already)

I’m a sucker for:

• Great conversations – Having teh ping with a wonderful someone + bubbling about random topics that makes you laugh (up the point where people think you’re crying), can make me smile all day long. Actually no..it would made me smile for days and days and days.
  
• Cute spiky hairs ~ I still have the utmost adoration for the ‘clean cut’ or ‘boy bands” look. I can stare at their hair for like hours. I just need them to sit quietly and be cute.
• Rock loud musics ~ Couldn’t resist rock musics that makes you jump.
• Dark Bitter Chocolates ~ I’m no chocoholic but dark bitter ones makes my life seems .. sweeter.

I had Ikan Keli and Tofu at a Kelantanese Restaurant for lunch. (Do I need to mention that Ikan Keli (digoreng dengan sambal okayy) is probably one of my most sought-after food next to Ikan Patin masak Tempoyak?). Quite a heavy lunch as I also had Sup Tulang at the same time. Bulih tahan juga lahhh the food. (Basically I have nothing ‘commercial’ enough to share.. so I guess telling you the kind of FOOD I had today is ‘exciting’ enough. Woohoo).

Class started yesterday but our lectures will only start tommorow morning. These two days have got to be the most sleepiest days for mua. We were supposed to complete our statistic assignment as the last day of submission is today. I completed mine on Saturday so basically I had nothing to do in class besides helping the rest with their graphs/charts (Ceh. Kunun sy siap awal lah nih), reading the papers, rummaged through my bag in search for receipts of meals I had (claim purposes), and cam-whored. and owh.. I also ‘unconciously’ fell asleep (we were in an air-conditioned room, cushioned chairs and a big table in front). It was all too tempting! The other girls had nothing to do as well so I guess the ‘wisest’ thing to do was taking photos of people..sleeping…Main target for the day: Eleanor. Demmit. I’ll have my revenge! (Note: I still feel bad for sleeping in class. It is SOOOO not ME! I’ve ALWAYSSSS have been the KUAI² girl… “Self praise is still the best praise”).

I was at the usual mamak just now with vbf and was so fcukin disturbed by the attitude of some people who was also there to ‘melepak’. Reason being: the way they talk to the helpers who took their orders was so damn rude. I am so sure that the helper was not a local so he was having trouble in taking down their orders to which this guy started to raise his tone of voice (it more or less sounded like he was shouting!). Kesiannnn bah the helper! Malu baitu!  We were sitting beside this ass and I felt like shouting back to him “ui buduh kah kau..no matter how you scream your lungs out pun dia susah paham bah buduhhhh! BUUUUDUHHHHHHHHHHH!” (terus keluar slang Sabah kaw kaw nih.wtf lah.). Have respect for people lah suckerrrr! It won’t kill you to talk nicely.

WIFE’s DIARY

Sunday night – I thought he was acting weird.  We had made plans to
meet at a cafe to have some coffee.  I was shopping with my friends
all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit
late, but he made no comment.

Conversation wasn’t flowing so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet
so we could talk, he agreed but his mind was far away.  I asked him
what was wrong – he said, ‘Nothing.’  I asked him if it was my fault
that he was upset.  He said it had nothing to do with me and not to
worry.

On the way home I told him that I loved him, he simply smiled and
kept driving. I can’t explain his behavior; I don’t know why he
didn’t say, ‘I love u, too.’

When we got home I felt as if I had lost him, as if he wanted nothing
to do with me anymore.  He just sat there and watched TV; he seemed
distant and absent.

Finally I decided to go to bed.  About 10 minutes later he came to
bed. I decided that I could not take it anymore, so I decided to
confront him with the situation but he had fallen asleep.  I started
crying and cried until I too fell asleep.  I don’t know what to do.
I’m almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else.

My life is a disaster.

It’s been nearly two months since I left KK (and it’s been that long that I have not been updating ALF), and boy, I miss home so much. ♥ I miss mumi, dadi and andy, hims, hers, the 8-5 workmates, the futsal team, my commando-like dogs at home; which I didn’t actually cared for that much back home, my mustard-like room, my viva-la-vida, and everything, everything back home  (macam mau nangis sudah saya typing this). I’m actually busy scouring photos I managed to save in my external HDD in search of photos of family and friends. I miss home like, so much (a.k.a homesick).

A lot happened since the day I left home – for all the right and wrong reasons. With my lack of abilities to make ‘wise’ decisions combine with my greatest capability (which is: being completely ignorant), I hurt others..both intentionally and unintentionally. I view this ‘trip’ as some sort of ’self-therapy’ (sounds so minta puji nihh. lol.) …always wanted a time where I could actually not think about work, taking breaks from excessive late-night party-ings (instead of the 4 times a week session, I definitely reduced the number to 1…in every one or two weeks y’all; pure alco-intake only, not inclusive of the jogets. lol.  impressive *clapping both hands and feets*), and giving a major thought on what I’m gonna do when I come back home. Being ignorant is not an option anymore.. I guess.

I have a lot to ramble about but with such little time, I won’t be able to do much for now…but photos would help I know. So here you go peeps (all in random order).

1.THE HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT CLASS OF 2009.

These are my classmates in Nilai. The first week of getting back into class (or the whole studying environment) was so damn difficult. Not as in having a difficult time understanding the lectures but due to the fact that I couldn’t seem to go through the 8 -5pm classes without falling asleep. Tried so hard to keep my eyes open but will actually ‘curi curi tidur’ for say 5 minutes only. (erkk..okay2 obviously I’m lying. I could ‘accidentally’ fall asleep for more than a mere 5mins). I do feel bad okayyy but things started to get better on the 2nd week of class (instead of falling asleep for 15mins, I only slept for 10. Impressive huh!)

2. MALAYSIA PLAYED WELL! 18/07/09. Location: Stadium Bukit Jalil. (though they didn’t win against the Red Devils but but but…woohoooooooooooooo! Malaysia rocks!) *suddenly becoming very patriotic…lalala..doing the tip-toe dance with him*.

• My first time watching football in SBJ with a ticket costing 98 bucks. (Thanks!)
• Searched for a parking for almost an hour. Parked nearly 1km away…but it’s worth it!
• Supported our Malaysian team all throughout the game. Didn’t wore anything RED that day.
• Owen is hot. So was the weather (result: armpits very the basah.lol)
• Augie & Judy are superb.

3. Barbeque-ing in Bangsar.

Saya sukaaaaaaaaa! I didn’t actually know anybody at the BBQ except for ‘the brothers’ but was soon caught up in a series of laughter all throughout the evening – thanks to Dave and of course, The Brothers. The nicest thing was that big bro prepared a ’separated’ meal for mua (in a damn huge bowl okayyy!) due to the fact that I am heavily allergic to seafood and eggs; it would made it impossible for me to eat the awe-noods (awesome noodles) he’s cooking for the rest of the BBQ-ing peeps. Lil brother still thinks I’m a bit at the weird-side. Quoting him: “are you REAAAAAALLY allergic to eggs???” Seafood possibly yes, but eggs???. *Sigh”. My Answer: YESSSSS!

4. Hennesy Artistry 2009

So I went to one of the largest Party in Malaysia (my choice of words mcm so grande kan. blek.). Thanks to lil brother! Tagged along Ms. Febria who actually had a hard time deciding whether she should go to Artistry or not. (need to update later . need to go and get some food!)

Gosh. Been disconnected for two weeks..haven’t had the chance to update ALF. I was too occupied with work and didn’t had the time to post anything. But but but, I did drafted my posts using my cell and only now am I able to transfer them to ALF.. just a short update for certain days as I couldn’t really recall on other happenings.

~ Slowness ~ March 26^th

Mua just reached home from badminton. My wrist hurts and part of my fingers hurt – probably I was not holding the racket the right way ~ I’m such an amateur but still, I had fun. As usual, I seem to lose my energy only after a mere 20 minutes of running back and forth, left to right. I can feel sweat running down my back and neck. It looked like somebody threw a bucket of water at me as I was sweating like crazy. To add, I have a very bad bruise on my left leg which contributed a lot to my slow performance (a lot slower from my usual slowness) since every single move I made was quite painful (sounds like I’m just giving excuses eh? lol. But really bahhh…).

~ Troublesome~ March 30^th

“Nine in the afternoon” ~ playing the song for a number of times while spending my lunch hour surfing the net and eating in front of the PC. My neck hurts for some reasons; possibly due to my sleeping position. I decided to update ALF while in the office since I couldn’t get online at home. (Honest explanation: my Internet connection was cut off. Hehe). Andy was supposed to go pay the monthly bill but guess he was too caught up at work. I could actually go and settle the bill but I’m way off budget…so I’ll just wait for bro to go. So there’s this thing call ‘online payment’…but sadly, both my bro & I didn’t activate our online accounts. Perhaps, we’re still being very old-skool.  We find excitement in queing at counters, sitting down for an hour  and discovering that the deposit machine suddenly turned offline after half an hour queing up. Boy, was that fun! (read: “siallll punya mesinnnnnn!” LOL)I actually had one before but I key-ed in the wrong password and was blocked ever since. Didn’t bother to unblock the thing…and look how troublesome it is for me now. So triple boo for me. Boo boo and boo.

Countdown to Cornelia’s birthday (her birthday falls on the 4th of April but since she won’t be available on the 4th, we decided to have the countdown)…and so the birthday girl came a bit late but since it’s your birthday, you’re then forgiven…bombarded with never-ending birthday wishes and gave her the tightest hug ever. Happy 24th Birthday Corn!

~ Alive & Kicking ~ 4^th April

(Morning – Afternoon) Saya berjalan jalan berpimpin tangan di 1Borneo bersama kekasihku. Yay. How ’skema’ does that sound? It sends shivers all over my body when I say it, but it was all good. I like the fact that some sentences conveyed in Malay sounds far more expressive than English itself. Seriously bah! Anyway, we went to have a look at the IBorneo IT Fair and we both fell in love with HP Compaq’s TX series and hey, we didn’t even cared to look for other stuffs. lol. Apaini!

(Evening) I went for Futsal practice with my colleagues …or should I refer them as my ‘team mates’, right after dinner  (started playing from 7.30 – 8.30pm). One of my colleagues managed to set up a team and included me in for the upcoming Futsal competition organized by our Hospital’s sports club. I worked out the proposal with our President where all rules and regulations are set up and was brought into the AGM for further discussion. Each team however will only consist of one male player. Reason being: Out of a 115 staffs, only 12% of them are males (I even gave you the exact percentage. Funny.). I’m in a female dominated workplace I must say.

The practice was fun but very, very tiring for me. I envied those who can actually play for one whole hour since I raised the white flag just after 30 minutes in the game and ends up sitting down beside the goal post (I call this act ‘restoration of energy’), while cheering the rest (clapping and boo-ing included.)

Date: 1st February 2009, Sunday (It’s February already.. January passed by so fast…)

Objective: Invited by Girl to a small BBQ gathering with the SHELL family.

Venue: Tanjung Lipas.. eh silap.. Tanjung Lipat, Likas. (Try saying “Tanjung Lipat Likas” laju2..Sounds like Tanjung Lipas..kan kan?? Maybe I’m just exxagerating..lol). FYI, It was my first time there since they opened the place to the public. I had some negative impression towards the place before coming there personally..i.e. ugly fugly, a lot of illegal immigrants & dirrrty. Honestly… I admit that.. I was wrong.. it was not that bad after all. It was a lil’ dirty on some part of the beach but maybe those rubbish drifted all the way from Pulau Gaya. The public toilets were well-maintained… supposedly to remain so as they are charging RM30 cents for each entry (same charges as the washrooms you go in at 1Borneo..besides the RM1 VIP toilets of course.Free for Platinums.)

No.of Peeps : Around 20 I guess ~ Including the kids. Wasn’t really counting. The only people I know was Girl & her boyfie Mark Dillon Garcia & Jeremy C. The rest were SHELL staffs who either came with their family, girlfriends or friends. Everyone was friendly and it gave you the feeling of being part of the ‘family’ too and not out of place. Hahaha. So..Hopefully someday they’ll recruit me into SHELL! (angan-angan nih)

Other happenings:

• The BBQ was more like a big ‘pembakaran terbuka‘ as the fire were going out of control! lol.
  
• I had few verbal-arguments with Harry (one of the SHELL staff) on how we should light up the fire, how to barbeque correctly etc (saya eksyen jah kunun2 tau padahal ndak mau kalah jah tu.lmao).. But both ended laughing like krazi.
  
• Calling Girl’s boyfriend ‘dear’ made her angry! Sikit dia mau tabak sy guna pisau. Tiba tiba dia sakit jiwa. Luckily I know some Kungfu-ing. Wachaaa! My advice: If you still want to live a bit longer, jangan cuba-cuba panggil boifren orang “dear”, especially boifren si Veralyn Marcie. It’s like digging your own grave.
  
• Chicken Wings & Sausages which looked like they were imported from Nigeria / Zimbabwe (no offence to both countries though).
  
• It was raining cats and dogs for a lil’ while so everyone stayed under shelter. I saw Girl’s thick Chinese Horoscopes in her bag, took it out (with permission) and started to flip through the pages trying to find The Ox! Jeremy rampas the book and started to cari Pork… Ok basically we now know what’s his year.
  
• Mark smiled a lot.  ‘dearrrr’… ehh..oopss.. Sorry! (immediately berlari menyelamatkan diri)
• I had FUN. I laughed and talked a lot (which both are obviously my greatest-passion in life). Hehe. Thanks Girl for the invite!

Right after a boring day at work, a few of us went straight to Iris’s house for lunch at Taman Permata. I was already feeling hungry while on my way to her house… We then had a superb lunch and I ate like a pig (still had my manners tho)! The great thing was when Iris took out bottles of Heineken right after we finished. Lol. She magically knew I need beers (just for the record, I ended finishing two small bottles) to compliment the terrific lunch. Having beers in a hot Saturday afternoon screams.. “Ada Kickk!!”. Haha. Then she slowly took out few glasses filled with sweet flavored jellies (couldn’t remember whether it was mango or pineapple, grape or raspberry?) and 3 containers of ice-cream! I had my purple coloured jelly mixed with Paddle-Pop ice cream and poured some fruit cocktails on top. Ta-daaa! It was fab-fab-fabulousity!!

P/s: Iris’s last day at work was on the 30th. We actually bought her a diamond & pearl necklace as her farewell gift.

Switched on the TV, tuned to RTM1.. and this caught my attention – according to scientific studies, men are way attracted to girls with hip ratio of 0.7.. So how do we calculate that?  Measure your waist , measure your hip. Then waist figure divide by hip figure. You do the math. Then you will get your ratio.
